FromMr. Lewis:
We will be auditioning student announcers to assist with morning announcements and O’ Canada. We will be preparing some segments in French and some in English. Please sign up beside Mr. Lewis office if you are interested.

Our First Fundraiser for 2019-20!!
Band students will return their orders to Mr. Fraser and non-band students will return their orders to the office please. Completed orders are due back by Wednesday, September 25. The delivery date for the cookie dough is Thursday, October 10, and containers will be ready to pick up at 6:30pm. Thank you for your participation and generous support.

Duke of Edinburgh:
There will be a Duke of Edinburgh Information Session for grade 9 students interested in participating in this year-long program. This session will take place at 11:45 on Wednesday, September 18, in the Learning Commons. Bring your lunch to the meeting! Registration forms will be distributed to those who attend this meeting.

Breakfast Program:
Our Breakfast program will start by the end of the month. We are in need of parent volunteers to supervise the breakfast program from 8:05 to 8:35am. You could do one day a week or whatever works best for you. Please contact Jeff Carruthers (jcarruthers@hrce.ca) if you are interested or have questions.

From Ms. Carter:
There will be a cross country practice Wednesday at 3pm. All students are invited to attend. Please be ready in running gear and sneakers and meet in the main lobby.

Picture Day is TODAY! – 8:45 to 2:30pm in the Library. Classes will be invited to the library when it is their turn. Retakes will happen on Tuesday, October 15.
