From Ms. Crocker and Ms. McKay:

Special recognition goes out to two students who have been brightening everyone's day with their clothing and costumes during online learning. Carter G. and John C. have been going out of there way to make learning fun and we appreciate their suits and funny costumes!

Thank you to Issac B. who has been helping his classmates when their internet is down. He facetimed his classmate and made sure they were a part of the class!

Students are not to go into google classrooms that are not their own. Please be respectful of other people’s learning space.

If you received a chrome book, you will have also received an agreement for it’s use by you at home. Please return that agreement once it has been signed. You can scan to email (jcottingham@hrce.ca) or fax to 435 8469 or arrange to drop it off at the school by calling 435 8420.

Planning for 2021-22 School Year:
If you know your child will not be returning to Ellenvale next year because of a move or transfer, please let the office know (435-8420) or email jcottingham@hrce.ca.

Office Hours:
If you are coming to the school to pick up chrome books, instruments or student’s personal items, please come to the school between 9am and noon. Please call 435-8420 before coming to the school to make sure someone is available to meet you.

This fundraiser is to support our outdoor classrooms, our Grade 9 promotion plans, and, hopefully, to purchase more Chrome Books toward our goal of one for every student. Tickets are for sale until May 17, 2021, midnight. The draw will take place on May 18, 2021, at the school. The winner will be contacted by email and/or phone.

Bussing for 2021-22:
If you think your child may qualify for bussing next year (this particularly applies to grade 9 students going into Grade 10), please ensure your primary address is up–to-date in PowerSchool as the bus companies draw their information from PowerSchool. Please call the office at 435 8420 if you need to update or verify your address.
