• Business Is Jammin’ March Break Biz Kids Camp Registration is now live! The theme this year is Seeds to CEO where the kids get a backstage pass to the ins and outs of being a CEO and starting their own business.There is a pitch competition at the end of the week where they will present their business ideas to a group of CEO panelists from the community, but to get hands exposure to real-world business operations, we are partnering with a small black-owned business, Natural Butter Bar, for the kids to create something that they will be selling at Scotia Square at the end of the week. • Today for African Heritage Month we speak about Honourable Twila Grosse. Grosse grew up in Cherry Brook, Nova Scotia and graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University in 1983. She is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly in the 2023 Preston provincial by-election. She is the first Black Canadian member of the Progressive Conservative Association of Nova Scotia caucus.
