General Announcements

• A reminder for all grade 9 students of Take Our Kids to Work Day coming up TOMORROW. Get those permission forms completed so you can take part!
• Supply drive is up and running, run by Jackson, Riley, Spencer and Luke for ILT/Citizenship. Come by the office to donate your extra binders, duotangs, pencils, erasers, sharpeners or any other spare school supplies to the school supply drive.  Go to Ellenvale Junior High, at the main office, to donate today.
• Halloween costume contest at 1205 today in the gym! Door judging today as well!
• Check out the House of Doom at 153 Lindenwood Terrace from 6PM to 8PM in support of the IWK. It is free to enter, the street is closed to traffic, and there will be free hot dogs and hot chocolate. We will start to give out tickets at 5:30, they go fast so come early! Enter if you Dare!!!!! Details on our website and Twitter.
• Last day of Mi'kmaq History, Islamic History, Hispanic Heritage and Women’s History month. I hope everyone learned a little something about each. Check out Twitter and our website for more resources.

• Healthy Hunger has a vendor on each day of the week again! Mondays and Fridays are The Lunch Lady with lots of great options.  Dominos Tuesday with pizza, pasta and chicken! Pita Pit Wednesdays and Kenny’s Pizza Thursdays! Place your orders a week in advance online! 

Band & Music Announcements

• Glam Band at lunch today.
• CBC music rehearsal will be Wednesday and Thursday this week at lunch.
• Grade 8 band rehearsal will be postponed until next week.

Athletic Announcements

• Female volleyball team had a great start to the season with a three set sweep against Caledonia. The player of the game is Avery Hubar.
• Female volleyball club will begin next Tuesday at lunch. Students from grade 6 to 9 that are interested in developing their volleyball skills will come at 12:05 to the gym starting next week.
