Today please remember to be kind, respectful and inclusive to each other in our hallways, classrooms and community.

• Newcomer Youth Drop-In at Woodlawn Library - Every Wednesday this season you can come to the library to make new friends while practicing English and vocabulary.  We’ll have a new activity each week including games, arts, crafts, fun snacks and more. Wednesdays 5:00-6:30 from September 13th to December 6th.
• If you are interested in trying Taekwondo check out the information on our website and twitter or come by the office to pick up a flyer!
• Pop up library at lunch today! Make sure to check it out!
• Ice - when you take ice bags from the office can we please have them returned - we like to recycle as much as possible.
• October is a big month, in this month we learn about Mi'kmaq History, Islamic History, Hispanic Heritage and Women’s History. Each day we will learn something new. I invite any students or staff to come see us with any ideas they may have on how we can celebrate and learn more.
• The Hispanic / Latin American community is one of the most diverse and fastest growing in Canada. It is a community represented by individuals coming from +20 Spanish-speaking countries around the world, with a very diverse and rich cultural heritage. The Spanish speaking community is truly a diversity within diversity within our local and national contexts.
• If you have forgotten your LUNCH today please let us know in the office by 10am, come by and see Ms. Hernon or Ms. Sushmita or tell your teacher so they can let us know.
• Healthy Hunger has a vendor on each day of the week again! Mondays and Fridays are The Lunch Lady with lots of great options.  DOMINOS Tuesday with pizza, pasta and chicken! Pita Pit Wednesdays and Kenny’s Pizza Thursdays! Place your orders a week in advance online!
