We acknowledge that we are in Mi’kma’ki, which is the traditional ancestral unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people.
General Announcements
Students will remain in their homeroom classes for the instructional day.
Movement of classes will be restricted to students moving to specialist classes such as Art, Band, Music, Food and Nutrition, Tech Ed and Physical Education.
We also have specific entry and dismissal doors as well as a staggered dismissal.
When entering the school:
- All grade 8 students AND 705 Garden Side - proceed up back stairs
- 704 and 706 Back Door (by music/band room)
- 701,702,703 Front Door - Library entrance
- All grade 9 students Main office - proceed up main stairs
Homeroom Changes:
- 705 is now in Room 203 with Mme Parsons.
- 703 is now in Room 115 with Ms. McCarron.
- 902 is now in Room 218 with Mr. Bignall.
- 801 is now in Room 210 with Ms. Sparks.
Students will be dismissed by individual cohorts at the end of the day.
Walking students MUST leave school property at dismissal
Please remember if you are feeling sick or have any cold or flu symptoms please stay home until you are feeling better.
Remember that masks are still being worn at this time, please remember to bring and wear your mask and wear it properly.
It is January - please dress for the weather - unless the weather outside is extreme it will be an outdoor lunch
If you have forgotten your lunch today, or any day, please let your teacher know this morning so we can have something for you at lunch.
