From Ms. McKay:
There will be an Options to Anger session for boys starting in February. If you feel like you would like to learn strategies to deal with frustration and how to better handle your anger, please see Ms. McKay in the main office for more information.

From Ms. Crocker:
As a part of the Buddy Daye contest, you can create a top ten Black Nova Scotia athletes’ list and talk about their achievements. Why not learn about Justine Colley or Custio Clayton and do a project?

New Lunch for Tuesdays:
Sunwich has agreed to trial a special meal for Tuesdays from January 26 to February 9: cooked rice topped with peas, carrots and diced chicken as well as the usual drinks and snack choices. The cost of this meal is $5.25. If it receives a good response, it will be continued for the rest of the school year.

Robotics Club meets on Thursday at 3pm in the Learning Centre
