The Grade 8 and 9 Band Students attending our Fredericton trip are requested to attend an information meeting on Friday, May 3 (tomorrow), at 10:00 am in the Band Room.

From Ms. Hann:
TODAY there will be a very important Pop-Choir rehearsal today at 12:10 in the music room.

From Mme Boudreau:
The 904 Civics class will be having a bake sale on Thursday in support of the Polaris Project, an organization that runs a hotline to help victims of human trafficking. 
And As part of the current movement of student action, some 904 students will be handing out pamphlets on how to reduce your carbon footprint at drop off Thursday morning. They will be staying on the sidewalk for safety, but want to give their sheets to arriving students to give to their drivers. Thanks for helping our students to be heard.

From Ms. Doolan:
Reminder that there is a running and jumping tryout at Beazley today from 3:30-5. Although Mrs. Doolan is not in school today she will be at the track.
There is also a full running and throwing practice at Beazley on Friday, tomorrow, from 3:30-5.

From Mr. Emberly and Ms. Pike:
Unfortunately, neither boys’ nor girls’ softball teams will be organized this Spring. The City has determined that the fields are too wet and cannot be readied in time.

From Mrs. Cottingham:
If you think your child may qualify for bussing next year (particularly applies to grade 9 students going into Grade 10), please ensure your primary address is up–to-date in PowerSchool as Stock downloads their information from PowerSchool. Please call the office at 435 8420 if you need to update or confirm your address.
