Band

Jazz Band - Today at Wednesday.

Romeo and Juliet Band Rehearsal - Thursday at lunch and Thursday after school

Beginning Monday May 2 rehearsals for Romeo and Juliet will be after school, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 3:00-4:00 pm in the gymnasium

Grade 7 Band Rehearsal - Friday at lunch

There will be two make up classes for the Drum Ensemble - Tuesday, May 10 and Tuesday, May 17 - at lunch in the band room.

Set Design

Set Designers for Romeo and Juliet will be working Thursday afterschool.

Next Wednesday, May 4th from 6 -9pm, we will be having a “Paint Night at Ellenvale”.

We need some help completing the backdrops for the upcoming musical Romeo and Juliet. (May 12th)

Students, Parents, Relatives and community members are all welcome to come pitch in.

Groups of volunteers will work on completing each panel from sketches.

Grade 9 Year End

Grade 9s please note that there are only 5 spots left for the trip to the Valley/Acadia. Please bring your money and form directly to Mme Boudreau if you want to go to ensure you get a spot. You have until Friday to bring money for both the trip and the Harbour Cruise to Mme Boudreau.

The WEactors collected 3 bags of garbage in the 30 minutes they were outside on Monday morning. Please keep the garden area beautiful by bringing your garbage to the can by the door. It takes effort by everyone to keep our community clean. Well done WEactors and thank you!!!

Yearbook

The final yearbook sales drive of the year is now underway! This year's yearbook is a 36 page hard cover book. The cost of the yearbook is $25 or $30 to have your yearbook personalized with your name on the front cover. Please return your completed form and money to your homeroom teacher by May 6. Additional order forms are available from Ms. Cottingham in the office.

Boys Lacrosse

A reminder to all boys’ lacrosse team members to return their team shirt and their overdue team fee of $25 to Madame Cunningham, and to return their stick to Ms. Pike.

There is a girls’ lacrosse practice after school today from 3 to 4.

Track and Field

Wednesday will be the last day to sign up for track and field. Be sure to sign your name and grade for the event(s) for which you would like to try out. Sign up sheets are across from the gym doors and in the front foyer. We are hoping to start tryouts next week, weather permitting. Any questions, please see Mrs.Doolan.

PIYO

Any girls wishing to come to PIYO on Thursday are asked to sign up outside of Ms. Pike's office. There will be a sign up sheet for Monday's PIYO posted on Friday.

Girls Lacrosse

Congrats to the girls lacrosse team yesterday on their win. Jordan Awalt was amazing in nets again! There will be a practice Friday, 3-4pm. All girls encouraged to attend. Final playoff game will be held on Monday. Details to follow.
