Los Primos

The draw for the winning ticket for the Los Primos Raffle will be at the Los Primos All Ages Dance this Saturday, Feb. 27, 7:30 pm, Olympic Community Hall, 2304 Hunter Hall, Halifax. Ellenvale Band students and families are welcome to attend. Tickets for the dance can be purchased at the door

Students $8 - Adults $15 - Family $35

Mr. Fraser will post the name of the Grand Prize winner once it becomes available from the Los Primos Society

Final payments for the Grade 8/9 Band Trip will be due March 1. Statements of student accounts will be sent home this week.

Musical

The cast list for the musical has been posted outside the music room. All students who auditioned for the musical are asked to meet in the music room tomorrow at 12.10

We are looking for artistic people, drawers, painters, crafters and such to help with set design for Romeo and Juliet. Interested artists can sign up outside the main office.

Boys Basketball

On Friday the Ellenvale boys capped off an undeafeated regular season defeating Graham Creighton 72-38. Player of the game Jahleel Stairs led the way with 33 pts and Carson Craig and Donte Brooks added 14 a piece. All players saw the floor...great win team!! The boys were Akerley Zone B Division Champs!

Girls Basketball
Practice Tuesday afterschool  until 4:30.

Book Club

Book club is cancelled until Thursday March 3rd.

Girl's Lacrosse

Any girls interested in trying out for the girl’s lacrosse team may sign up on the sheet outside the gym.

Today there is a staff meeting at 3pm and a School Advisory Committee meeting at 5:30pm.

Gift Card Basket Raffle Tickets are due back ASAP – the draw for the first basket is on Feb. 25, this Thursday.

Grad Photo retakes will be in the library this Friday, Feb. 26.
