Students, if you arrive after the 8:35 bell, please make sure you come to the office for a late slip.

Very important re lunch time routine:
For students leaving over lunch hour, it is important to remind you that you must leave the school grounds for the duration of lunch hour. If you must return early, then you must return to the designated grade level area and not hang out just anywhere on the property.

We are asking everyone to wear pink shirts on Thursday, Sept. 17, to recognize Anti-bullying/Pink Shirt Day. Celebrated annually around the globe, Pink Shirt Day began in Canada in 2007 when two students, David Shepherd and Travis Price, took a stand against homophobic bullying after grade 10 student was harassed and threatened for wearing pink.
Picture Day is Tuesday, September 22 – 8:45 to 2:30pm in the Learning Commons. Students will be invited to the Learning Commons when it is their turn. Retakes will happen on Tuesday, October 13.

Parents/Guardians:
If you need to report a student absent or late, please call 435-8420 and press 1 for the safe arrival line. You may call this number and leave a message 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you don’t call (or send a note or email to the office) and your student is absent, a call will be made to the phone numbers you have provided and an email will be sent to you as well so that we can ensure that your child is safe.

If you need to drop something off for a student, please ring the buzzer and wait outside for someone to greet you at the door. We have been asked to limit the number of adults coming into the building unnecessarily. Thank you for your cooperation.
