From Mr. Lewis:
The Provincial Reading, Writing, and Math Gr 8 Assessment will continue on June 4, June 5, with another make up day on June 6. Please support this assessment by ensuring your grade 8 student has had breakfast (some snacks will be provided at school also) and are present for the testing on the days listed previously. This is very important. Thank you for your cooperation.

From Ms. Legge:
There will be a mandatory Duke of Ed meeting this Wednesday at lunch. This is important as last minute items for our trip on Thursday will be discussed.

From Ms. Doolan:
Congratulations to Max Sparks who came in 7th and had a personal best for discus at track and field provincials,  and congratulations as well to the boys 4x100 team of Aaron Ciocca, Alex Dorey, Chad DiPersio, and Owen McConnell who came in 10th.

Mrs. Cottingham:
Regarding attendance on the day of the Grade 9 Boat Cruise, Monday, June 17, parents/guardians must call the safe arrival line or send an email to Mrs. Cottingham (jcottingham@hrce.ca) to report a student’s absence or a student leaving school early on that day. Any grade 9 student marked unexcused absent on Monday, June 17, will not be permitted to attend the Boat Cruise that evening.

The D’nD club meets on Wednesday at 3pm and they will be having their year-end pizza party!

If you are not going to be present on June 28 to receive your report card, please provide a self-addressed envelope, with the correct postage, to the office so that the report card can be mailed to your home.
