  • Today we celebrate Portia May White, contralto & teacher from Truro, was the first Black Canadian concert singer to win international acclaim. The Portia White Prize is the largest prize of its type awarded by NS. Check out more information at the Black Cultural Centre.

Athletic Announcements

  • Female basketball team had a strong win yesterday and will be moving on to the finals on Monday. Shout out to the grade 6s who played hard - Lillian, Zoe, and Brooke. Offensive player of the game was Lexie and defensive player of the game was Marley. There will be a lunch meeting in Mrs. Doolan’s room 220 on Friday for all players.
