• Please ensure that no one is going into wooded areas or parks during lunch or on the walk to and from school. The current burn ban has made these areas off limits. Please adhere to the restrictions.
• June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada, an opportunity to learn about the unique cultures, traditions and experiences of First Nations, Inuit and Métis. It's a time to honour the stories, achievements and resilience of Indigenous Peoples, who have lived on this land since time immemorial and whose presence continues to impact the evolving Canada. Each week there will be a different theme that we will discuss!
• In June, many across Canada recognize Pride Month. It is a time when we celebrate the diversity of LGBTQ2S+ communities, while acknowledging their history, the hardships they have endured and the progress that has been made.
