• Today is Red Dress Day, also known as the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and Two-Spirit People. Métis artist Jaime Black helped inspire the red dress movement, where red dresses are hung from windows and trees to represent the pain and loss felt by loved ones and survivors. • Tickets are on sale today on SchoolCash for the Grade 7 & 8 Dance on Thursday, May 18. It will be from 6:30PM to 8:30PM and there will be a canteen available. Grade 6 students will also be invited! No outside guests permitted for this dance. 
• Reminder to all please do not open the doors for students outside. Anyone that is outside during class time has to come through the main entrance. Please remember if you are outside to ring the doorbell at the main door to gain entry to the school.
