• Today is the start of Asian Heritage Month. Over centuries, individuals & families have immigrated from East Asia, Southern Asian, Western & Southeast Asia. These new Canadians brought a rich cultural heritage representing many languages, ethnicities and religious traditions. Check out our website for ideas on how to learn and celebrate.
• Also every May, Canada celebrates Jewish Heritage Month - an opportunity to learn about Jewish heritage and the community’s significant contributions to Canada. Please check out our website to learn more.
• This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Make sure to do something special to show your teachers how much you appreciate all that they do for you!
