We acknowledge that we are in Mi’kma’ki, which is the traditional ancestral territory of the Mi’kmaq people.

From Mr. Lewis:
Please come to school with a water bottle. Water bottles can be filled here at the school. We had a supply of 5000 paper cone cups which we started using at the end of October. They are almost all gone as they are not being used responsibly.

Students, be prepared to learn from home. If our school has to shut down to be cleaned thoroughly because we have a case of COVID reported to us by Public Health, students will be expected to follow their schedules via google meets from home starting immediately after the shut down notice is given. Be PREPARED! Attendance will be taken. Teachers will be ready and waiting for you in the google online classroom.

Robotics Club: due to the new covid restrictions of group size, the club is going to try to move to virtual meeting. We will keep you updated if this is possible. There will be no in-person Robotics Club until further notice.

Christmas Spirit week is around the corner (Dec 14 to 18), so get your red, white and green ready, get your ugly Christmas sweaters ready and let’s have a friendly homeroom competition. Top two homerooms accumulating points at each grade level will win a pizza party!
Dec. 14: Christmas Colours Day: Red,Green, Silver or Gold (Yellow) – 50% body coverage counts – one of the colours counts
Dec. 15: Christmas Character Day: reindeers, Santas, Elves
Dec. 16: Christmas/Winter themed Sock and/or Hat Day
Dec. 17: Christmas Sweater Day: Ugly or not—all are acceptable
Dec. 18: Pajama Day: Christmas PJS or not – all are acceptable
