From Mr. Lewis:
Parent-teacher meetings will be held tomorrow from 1 to 3 pm and from 6 to 8pm. You may contact Mrs. Cottingham in the school office at 435-8420 to book an interview appointment. Report Cards will be coming home today.

Basic Baby Sitter Course:
For any student in Grade 7 to 9, Safe Choice Safety Services is offering this course at Ellenvale tomorrow from 9am to 4pm. Details were sent home via email to all families or information/registration forms can be picked up at the school office. The cost for the course is $50 and the registration link is www.safechoice.ca/event

Finbars Fundraiser!
Dec. 9, after 5pm, treat yourself at Finbars--15% of all sales will support Ellenvale Projects including the Student Life and Spirit Activities, Learning Commons, Art Gallery, and Positive and Welcoming Messaging Initiative around the school.
You can DINE IN or TAKE OUT!  Just remember to let the Finbar's staff know that you are dining in support of Ellenvale Junior High School! Please invite friends, families and neighbours!

We will have a special guest speaker, Joe MacEachern, the Indigenous Health Program Manager, Faculty of Medicine, Global Health at Dal on Thursday, Dec. 5 at lunch. Mr. MacEachern will meet with our students of aboriginal ancestry over the lunch hour that day. Please confirm with Ms. Cottingham if you can attend.

Boys volleyball team members will be leaving at 2:30pm today for their game at Astral.

Interested in playing Club Volleyball? Chick out DVC! Registration details are online—search Dartmouth Volleyball Club. Placements start in early December!

There are no classes for students TOMORROW. The morning is professional development for teachers and parent teacher interviews in the afternoon and evening.
