All students Backpacks are to be stowed in lockers at all times - during class time and lunch hour.
Students who are not in the Band program and who might like to sell tickets for the Los Primos Fundraiser can pick up the Los Primos raffle tickets at the office. Tickets and money sold by non-band students are to be returned to the main office by Feb. 27 (no later). The grand prize is a trip for 4 to Cuba—one week all inclusive!! Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. A portion of the sales would also go to support Music Education in Nova Scotia and Cuba.

selling bingo cards for the regular and special games

You can save $5 on Bingo Cards if you purchase them the end of the day today. They are available to order through the school office. Also, there are lots of Gift Card Raffle Tickets if anyone wants to sell more of those. Remember, as well as a prize for the student who sells the most Gift Card Basket Raffle tickets, there is a prize for the class that sells the most!

From Mr. Carruthers:
All members of the Grease Production Crew are asked to attend a meeting this Friday at 3pm in the library. After a short meeting (about 15 minutes) for all production crew, there will be a planning session to discuss the creation of the backdrops for all painters and designers which should last until 4:30pm.

From Mr. Gabriel:
As we continue with our grade 9 high school course selection preparations at Ellenvale, parents should take note of the following Parent presentation nights at PA and DHS:
Prince Andrew – TODAY from 6-6:45 pm O2/IB meeting, followed by from 7-8 pm, Course Selection presentation.
Cancelled: Rescheduled for Thursday, February 28th.
Course Selection at 6pm. O2/IB at 7pm.

Dartmouth High - Thurs. Feb. 28, 6-7pm
Also, There will be a meeting at Prince Andrew for students and their parents interested in taking the Pre-IB programme TODAY at 6pm in the school library.  Registrars from Dalhousie and Saint Mary's will be on hand to answer questions about IB from the university perspective.

From Mme Boudreau:
The We Love Everybody dance will be rescheduled due to the inclement weather predicted for today. Details of the new date will be provided soon.  Dance tickets purchased thus far will be honoured at the rescheduled dance.

From Ms. Legge:
All Duke of Ed participants are reminded to log and update their hours. There will be a mandatory meeting on March 6th.

From Ms. Hann:
All cast and chorus of Grease are reminded of the important rehearsal today at 12:10 in the gym. If it is an indoor lunch, we will be in the learning commons.

From Ms. Pike:
Are you active outside school -- part of any club or team that promotes physical activity and a healthy lifestyle? If so, bring in a 4x6 photo of yourself doing what you do to stay healthy when you are not at school. Skiing, skating, swimming, hockey, running, rock climbing.....anything active! We will start a collection on the bulletin board outside the gym, so please note that you may not get your picture back.

The second and final tryouts for badminton are next week:
Grade 9s will be on Monday, Feb 25th from 3-4:30
Grades 7 & 8 will be on Tuesday, Feb 26th from 3-4:30
If you were unable to make the first tryout, please come see Mme. Taylor about attending the second one.

Please remember TOMORROW, is the make-up day for the Sunwich lunch orders which were missed due to a “snow day” last Wednesday.
