The Mi’kmaw Glooscap vs. The Evil Twin: In Mi’kmaq mythology, the heroic giant Glooscap shaped the geography of eastern Canada. According to legend, he had to constantly fight an evil twin brother who tried to make mountain ranges completely impassable and rivers too crooked to navigate. Glooscap eventually won by turning his brother to stone. He is honoured throughout Nova Scotia, such as Millbrook, Parsborro and Blomidon Provincial Park
