NSGIRL will be holding a living library event at the Halifax Central Library on October 17th from 1-3:00 pm. It is an event for girls and gender diverse youth in celebration on the International Day of the Girl Child.
Some of the "books" students will be able to sign out includes Portia Clark, CBC, Damini Awoyiga, Poet, a TikTok influencer, a scientist, Indigenous artist, a social justice activist and more.
This is a free event and there will also be light refreshments and gifts to take home for each attendee.
