We acknowledge that we are in Mi’kma’ki, which is the traditional unceded ancestral territory of the Mi’kmaq people. 

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years. 

If you have forgotten your LUNCH today please let us know in the office by 10AM. We will try to provide you with lunch from the lunch program. Ordering is open today for the two weeks starting October 20.

General Announcements

  • Remember that your coats, vests, backpacks, smart watches and cell phones should be put in your lockers each morning. These items are not allowed in classrooms.

  • In Canada, October is recognized as Autism Awareness Month, a designated time to increase understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder, combat stigma, and support Autistic individuals and their families. During this month, various organizations and the government work to promote inclusivity and provide resources to better support the Autistic community. Check out the link on our website for more information.

  • Last call for Terry Fox Dance tickets - if you cannot purchase tickets online bring $5 to the office.

  • Ellenvale Allies Club meeting at the 11:50 bell in room 219, bring your lunch - all are welcome!

Band & Music Announcements

  • Reminder that CBC rehearsal for Grade 7 to 9 is tomorrow at lunch and Glam Band with Mr. Mosher is on Friday at lunch!

Athletic Announcements

  • A huge congrats to our male soccer team and their 1-0 victory over Astral yesterday! Emmanuel scored our winning goal and a special shout out to AJ who played a fantastic game in nets! Way to go Eagles!!

  • Female soccer game today versus Caledonia at Montebello field at 3:45PM. Go Eagles!

  • Male volleyball tryouts today and tomorrow after school until 4:30PM. Come prepared and have a way home.

  • Female volleyball practice tomorrow before school at 7:30AM.

  • Cross Country meet tomorrow at Point Pleasant Park. Let’s go Eagles! Run hard!
