Today in honour of Mi’kmaw History Month we learn that protecting the water, air, and the land is how we can show respect for Mother Earth and the Mi’kmaq refer to the earth as Mother Earth, the sky as Father Sky, the moon as Grandmother Moon and the sun as Grandfather Sun.
