If you have forgotten your LUNCH today please let us know in the office by 10AM. We will try to provide you with lunch from the lunch program.

General Announcements

  • Remember that your coats, vests, backpacks, smart watches and cell phones should be put in your lockers each morning. These items are not allowed in classrooms.

  • Grade 9 FI Field Trip today, we will call you down when the buses arrive.

  • Today is World Diabetes Day. This year it has two key themes: "Diabetes and the workplace" and "Diabetes across life stages". These themes emphasize the need for support, access to care, and the reduction of stigma in various life stages, including at work.  

  • FOOD AND CLOTHING FOR ALL Campaign. This campaign is all about helping those in need. Gently used warm clothing, non perishable foods, canned goods, and basic everyday clothes will provide warmth and comfort for winter. Join the team, Help our school, our community, and our world. FOOD AND CLOTHING FOR ALL will be collected from November 10th to December 12th 2025. You can drop off donations at the office in the main building and in the modular office. Thank you.

  • Cultural programming with Ms. Willis in the learning commons this afternoon. Grade 6 & 7 in fourth period and Grade 8 & 9 in fifth period. Today is Ms. Willis’ last day with us before her teaching practicum. She will be back with us in the new year. Congratulations and well wishes to Ms. Willlis!

  • Chess club at the 12:05 bell today in room 309 in the modular, make your way by 12:10.

  • Female Volleyball Club at the 12:05 bell.

Athletic Announcements

  • Female basketball tryouts for Grade 6 & 7 afterschool until 4:15PM. 

  • Any grade 6 students interested in attending a fun co-ed volleyball tournament against other elementary schools at Woodlawn High on December 12 are asked to sign-up on the bulletin board by the grade 6 entrance by Monday at lunch.  A draw to determine who will be attending will take place after lunch on Monday.
