Boil water advisory in effect
A boil Water Advisory is in effect for Beaver Bank, Middle and Lower Sackville, Upper Hammonds Plains, Bedford, Fall River, Halifax, Timberlea, Spryfield and Herring Cove. Water is safe for hand washing and flushing toilets. Bottled water for drinking will be provided at impacted schools.

General Announcements

  • Remember that your coats, backpacks and cell phones should be put in your lockers each morning. These items are not allowed in classrooms.

  • A new food drive for Feed NS is on until January 31. Donation bins by the main office and under the bulletin board in the modular. Please bring in non-perishable items for donation.

  • For this morning's classes, Mme. Rodger wants you to bring headphones if you have them please. 

  • Today is Martin Luther King Day! A day to honor him and his civil rights movements against racial discrimination.

Band & Music Announcements

  • Grade 6 violin today after school in the Learning Commons until 3:35PM.

  • Lead dancers for the musical today at lunch with Mr. Pettipas.

  • Musical rehearsal Tuesday for scenes 1 to 4 and Thursday for scenes 5 to 7 at 7:30AM.

  • Thursday at lunch scene 2 choreography and singing in learning commons.

Athletic Announcements

  • Intramurals in the gym at lunch, Mondays are for Grade 7 students.

  • Big win for our JV team on Friday - great job team - player of the game Emma.

  • Female basketball game today at Graham Creighton - be there for 3:30! Go Eagles! Any spectators must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Male basketball practice today after school until 4:30PM.
