Modular students,
Your breakfast program provides fruit and snacks in the morning (upon entry) on the breakfast carts. At recess and lunchtime fruit and vegetables are also available on the carts.
Snacks are NOT available during class time or any time in the afternoon.
YOU ARE NOT allowed to help yourself to items stored in the office/resource room.
If the door is closed you are not allowed to enter.
If the door is open and Ms. Smith is not there, you are not allowed to enter.
If classroom doors are closed or there is no teacher in the room, you are not allowed to enter.
and at NO TIME should you ever be going through any of the admin or teachers' desk drawers.
ALSO: DO NOT, AT ANY TIME open the outside doors for anyone (student or adult). Admin will deal with the doors.
Remember that your coats, backpacks, and cell phones should be put in your lockers each morning. These items are not allowed in classrooms.

Today we honour William Pearly Oliver, who worked at the Cornwallis Street Baptist Church for twenty-five years and was instrumental in developing the four leading organizations to support Black Nova Scotians in the 20th century including the Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia. He was instrumental in supporting the case of Viola Desmond. Oliver was awarded the Order of Canada in 1984. Check out more information at the Black Cultural Centre.
