Today for AHM we highlight Gary Beals, best known for being runner up in the first season of the reality television series Canadian Idol. He is a resident of Cherry Brook, Nova Scotia and named "Best Halifamous Person of 2003" by The Coast. Check out his stuff on YouTube.

Congratulations to our female basketball team for their amazing win yesterday. They ended the season as Division 1 Champions - WAY TO GO EAGLES!! Thank you to the parents who made sure the players were at practices and games, to RBC for donating their time to do scorekeeping, and finally a big thanks to the coaches who dedicated a lot of their free time to coaching this year.
