We acknowledge that we are in Mi’kma’ki, which is the traditional unceded ancestral territory of the Mi’kmaq people. We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

General Announcements

  • Today is Trans Day of Remembrance. Transgender Day of Remembrance is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. You can read more about the Transgender Day of Remembrance in our news feed and twitter.

  • ILT is also holding a raffle for a candy basket - bring your loonies tomorrow to purchase tickets. They will be selling every Thursday until the draw in December.

  • Starting today there will be a food drive run by ILT, held until November 30. There will be a brown cardboard box labeled Feed Nova Scotia by the main office and in the resource room in the modular. Please drop your non-perishable food items there. 

  • GSA Club at lunch in room 219 at lunch bell.

  • Ukulele Club today at 12:05 in Mr. Francis’ room 108.

Athletic Announcements

  • Payton please bring me your soccer jersey!

  • Female Volleyball Club at lunch in the gym at the 12:05 bell.

  • Female volleyball game at home versus Caledonia at 3:30PM. Go Eagles!

  • Male volleyball team had a win over Caledonia - congrats team, great job!

  • The second female basketball tryouts will take place on Tuesday, November 26 at lunch. Please be in the gym for 12:00. All those who were at the first tryouts and anyone who missed it are invited back.
