NSGIRL Accept No Limits Winter Program

We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming "Accept No Limits" program for girls aged 12-16 years on Friday, February 4th, 2022. Our summer program held in Digby, Nova Scotia was a huge success and provided interactive learning opportunities that focused on understanding social justice issues, building self-confidence, developing communication skills, developing leadership skills, exploring careers, and the many ways that girls and young women can make a difference in their communities.

The Nova Scotia Girls Institute for Resource and Learning (NSGIRL) is a registered non-profit and our goals are to work towards girls’ participation in leadership, social justice, empowerment, and gender equality. Co-founders Susan Brigham and Cassandra McDonald are proud of their success in planning and running the annual Girls Conference at Mount Saint Vincent University from 2012-2020 and are excited to continue their work with girls across Nova Scotia under the auspices of NSGIRL.

We are hosting our winter program at the Halifax Central Library located at 5440 Spring Garden Road. It is free to girls 12-16 and includes snacks, lunch, refreshments and swag.

We are hoping you can help us get this out to teachers, counselors, parents, girls and guardians who might be interested. We would love for as many girls as possible to be able to attend.

We are delighted to announce that registration is now open!
