Good afternoon Parents/Guardians,

Wednesday, September 25th we will have our Terry Fox walk and run in the afternoon. We are asking each student to bring in a loonie or toonie for Terry. We will also be having a bbq at lunch where burgers and hotdogs will be available for $1. 702 will also be selling freezies at lunch to raise funds for Terry Fox.
We are planning for all students to walk with their homeroom teachers offsite in the community. Our loop takes the students down Bella Vista Drv., up Woodlawn Road , up Mt. Edward Road and then back down Belle Vista Drv. to the school. It is approximately a 2.5km loop. Students who wish to run the loop may do so in a large group with Mrs. Carter.
As part of our spirit day we are asking grade 7's to wear blue, the 8's to wear red and the 9's to wear green.
Since 2014 Ellenvale students have walked a combined total distance of 5546 kms,  approximately the distance from the east coast of NewFoundland to Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Students will need to return signed consent forms to be able to take part in the walk/run.
