This Thursday we have an exciting group coming in to present at EVJH.
UNITY Charity from Toronto comes highly recommended and aims to empower and engage young people to become role models and leaders in their community. Their Motto is “Express Your Stress” and they do so through the arts.
We will be having a whole school assembly in the morning (9-10am) and then a series of workshops throughout the day. (Dance/Spoken Word/ Beat Boxing/ Graffiti Art) Each of these sessions will be offered in the morning and then again in the afternoon.
Students will sign up for sessions through a google survey found on our school webpage today through Wednesday. Students will indicate 1st and a 2nd choice for workshops.
Everyone will be part of the assembly and then selected students will be leaving class to attend their sessions.
Sessions will have between 25-30 students max. Space is limited so it will be on a first come first serve basis.
