General Announcements

• Today please remember to be kind, respectful and inclusive to each other in our hallways, classrooms and community.
• The 2023 African Nova Scotian History Challenges are back! We’re happy to share that we are once again offering an online entry form for improved accessibility. Along with mailing your submission in or dropping them off at our office, you can also submit virtual entries by a shared link or file upload. A virtual entry can be a picture, an audio clip, a video, or a document. This added online component will hopefully ensure Nova Scotia’s diverse communities and the rich history of African Nova Scotians will be explored by students across the province. 
• As the seasons are changing, the need for donations is becoming more important. If you would like to help and donate to the Ellenvale community, you can participate in our winter fundraiser. Each homeroom teacher will have a bin in their classroom where you can donate food and hygiene products. For financial donations to support families in our community, such as gift cards and money, you can give them directly to your homeroom teacher. A list of suggested donations can be found in each classroom. Collection runs from starting today to December 13th.
• Yearbook meeting tomorrow in Mme. Cameron’s room (106) at 12:10. Eat first and then head there to start putting the yearbook pages together!
• If you have forgotten your LUNCH today please let us know in the office by 10am.
• Healthy Hunger is now available each day of the week!! Salad & Pizza Mondays, R&B Kitchen specials on Tuesday, Sandwich & Wrap Wednesdays, Kenny’s Pizza Thursdays and Pasta Fridays! Place your orders a week in advance online!

Band & Music Announcements

• Grade 9 Band Rehearsals at lunch are CANCELLED.
• The music room will be shut down this week. Musical auditions will be everyday this week at lunch. If you have signed up for an audition please show up at the bell.
