General Announcements

• If you are looking for a way to get engaged in the community, develop confidence and develop life long friendships then you may want to check out the MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning. Information is posted on the bulletin board by the main doors or you can see Mr. Gabriel for more information
• We are STILL looking for some student leaders to help us with a food drive at Ellenvale for this weekend. Instead of asking for candy, trick or treat asking for food donations for our Ellenvale community. Please sign up with Ms. Hernon, Ms. Doolan, or Ms. Crocker. 
• Another way to help out is by bringing a donation of “lunch food” to school, granola bars, crackers, cereal bars, Kraft dinner cups, ramen noodle cups. Bring them to your homeroom for collection! FOOD DRIVE INFORMATION
• This Friday feel free to dress up in a halloween costume or orange and black. Please remember no full face masks and no weapons - even pretend ones! There may be some judging for prizes at lunch with some cool Halloween tunes!

Athletic Announcements

• The girls first volleyball game was victorious.
  The team won 3-1 matches giving them a great start to the season .

  Captains Ava and Jill kept the game focused  with their leadership skills

  The serves were the teams highlighted skill with exceptional serves by Ava, Chloe, Raya and Olivia
  The Grade 8s dominated the floor play while fantastic  serve receptions were made by Grade 9s Carley and Sophie .

Learning Centre Announcements

The learning centre will be selling popcorn on Friday at lunch in the main lobby.  Flavors include plain, butter, dill pickle and white cheddar.  Cost is $1.00.  Please bring exact change because we are unable to make change for you at this time.
