If you have a school chromebook at home, please remember to bring/return your chromebook to the school.

You may notice that Ellenvale is flying the Mi’Mkmaq Flag. The symbolism of this flag:

Soar Nomination:
Jaylen Berglund-Simmonds (801) has received a SOAR ticket. He is working very hard in his classes and often stays to clarify and ask for help. He even has worked through part of his lunch before with teachers!

More Robotics Team News!!
Our Robotics Club attended the Acadia Annual FLL event last week Thursday May 27, and participated in all four components (Innovation Project, Robotic design, robotic challenges, & core values). All participating team members demonstrated excellent knowledge and enthusiasm. They won Innovation project award, coaches awards & advanced to participate in Canada Cup competition. Our team looks forward to participate virtually in Canada cup in Ontario on June 7-12 and International competition at Greece on June 27 -29. Thank you very much for all the support and encouragement you are giving us. – Manvinder Dhillon, Club Leader

Healthy Hunger Orders:

We will resume our lunch orders beginning Friday, June 4. At the moment, orders can be placed until June 11, but this may change (after consulting with Kenny’s and Sunwich) to help you use up your Healthy Hunger credits. (Please see the top righthand corner of your healthy hunger personal account to see how much credit you have.) You can apply this credit when you place a new order.

If you know your child will not be returning to Ellenvale next year because of a move or transfer, please let the office know (435-8420) or email jcottingham@hrce.ca.

Bussing for 2021-22:
If you think your child may qualify for bussing next year (this particularly applies to grade 9 students going into Grade 10), please ensure your primary address is up–to-date in PowerSchool as the bus companies draw their information from PowerSchool. Please call the office at 435-8420 if you need to update or verify your address.
