Oct 7 2020 Announcements

Announcements Wednesday, October 7, 2020

We acknowledge that we are in Mi’kma’ki, which is the traditional ancestral territory of the Mi’kmaq people.

From Mr. Lewis:
October is Mi’kmaq History Month. The purpose is to promote public awareness about the Mi’kmaq culture and heritage to the people of Nova Scotia. Take a look around the school to see the Mi'kmaq History Month poster.

Students are reminded to please remember to bring their masks to school with them. We have a limited supply. We gratefully received a parent-donated box of disposable masks today!

Students are also reminded to not leave their lunch/snack litter on our neighbours’ properties please.

And finally, students are reminded that cell phone use is not permitted during instructional time unless teachers have asked you to use them for learning purpose.

School Photo Retakes: Tuesday, October 13.
