We acknowledge that we are in Mi’kma’ki, which is the traditional ancestral territory of the Mi’kmaq people.

From Mr. Lewis:
For students who have borrowed books from Woodlawn Pop-up library, you can return your books to Ms. Jackson in the library so that Anneka Janes can pick them up. This will unblock your library card so you can start borrowing books again!
And our first Pop-up library will happen on September 30 at lunch – so that way you will be able to borrow more books on that day.

Please note that the drinking fountains are not to be used. Large bottle water dispensers are available on both floors. Please ensure you have a bottle for drinking water.

Caring for our neighbours – Over the next few days I am asking for our Eagles to take care of our families in our community.  We can all lend a hand to our neighbours by remembering to carry our litter and place it in a trash can back at school.  Let’s take pride in all the properties in the area like we do our own and remember to say a kind hello to our neighbours in the area.

Inclement weather and Lunch - Our lunch hour procedure for today during inclement weather means that we will stay in our homerooms during lunch today.  Please remember to take your litter home with you as much as possible.

Picture Day is TODAY!! – 8:45 to 2:30pm in the Learning Commons. Students will be invited to the Learning Commons when it is their turn. Retakes will happen on Tuesday, October 13.

Friday September 25, is a Professional Development (PD) day. There are no classes for students.
