Wednesday Lunch - Jazz Band Rehearsal. Grease Band Rehearsal will be on Thursday's after school from now on. Wednesday Evening:- 7:00 pm. Ellenvale Junior High Celtic Band will be performing in the Halifax Celtic Festival - Youth Concert, at the Christ Church, 61 Dundas Street, Dartmouth. Celtic Band members should arrive by 6:00 pm. Please wear the Ellenvale Band Uniform.

In preparation for our Gift Card Basket Fundraising Raffle on February 28 (same night as our upcoming Community BINGO), we greatly appreciate your donations of gift cards valued at $10 or more. These can be dropped off at the office.

Raffle tickets for these Gift Card Baskets will be going home with students by Friday this week. Each student will receive 2 booklets of 3 tickets to sell (1 ticket is $2 and 3 tickets are $5). All monies and tickets (used and unused) must be returned to the office by Friday, Feb. 15, please. Extra tickets will be available from the office if you want to sell more. Top ticket sellers will receive prizes! Thank you for your support! Funds will be used to support year-end activities.

There will be a leadership meeting today at lunch. All members are asked to be in Mme Leslie's room at 12:10. Members of the boys and girls volleyball teams are also asked to check in briefly as well at this time or to check in with Mme Leslie at the end of the day if they are unable to make it.

Due to the ski trip, we will put off our first choir practice until Feb 20. All new members are welcome to attend. All Grease cast and chorus are reminded of their mandatory after school rehearsal this Friday, February 1, in the gym from 3-5pm. All performers must attend.

Each time you send a snap using the Bell Let’s Talk filter or watch their official video, Bell will donate 5¢ towards mental health initiatives. But remember, if it’s during class you really should talk to your teacher before you Snapchat!
