Thursday at Lunch - Grade 8 Band rehearsal and Thursday after school - Christmas Band - please remit permission slips for concerts by Nov. 21
Thursday - Remembrance Day Observance - Grade 9 Band performing. Please wear band uniform - this is a formal ceremony.

Marked theory books will be returned this week. Corrected books can be re-submited for increased marks. Please take advantage of this opportunity. Our term ends Nov. 19. Band students with incomplete scale assessments and theory must complete their work asap.  Mr. Fraser is also be available for extra help Mon-Wed after school.

Next week - Fall Band Concert - all grades/all band students- Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016 7:00 pm Ellenvale gym. There will also be a 50/50 draw and a bake table. Donations to our bake table can be dropped off in the gym on the morning of the concert.

Our Musical (Annie) Band will begin rehearsing next month. Music should be available in 2 weeks for those band students who are interested. The musical band will be open to all grades.

Musical
Ms. Mignault and Mr. Fraser are pleased to announce that this year's musical is going to be Annie! Auditions will take place at lunch time on Wednesday, November 9th and Thursday, November 10th, in Ms. Mignault's room 108. You can sign up for your audition on the sheet posted next to room 108. Be prepared to perform a song of your own choosing or a selection from Annie, and to read a part of the play. The show is going to take place on April 20th with a possibility of more than 1 performance.

Grade 8 Trip
All grade 8 students are reminded to bring in their permission forms and money for the play taking place November 8th at Alderney Landing. Please have forms and money in no later than Monday November 7.

We Act meeting in Ms. Shortt's room 205 today.

Pi-Yo
Pi-Yo starts today at 11:50 in the MPR room. Work on your flexibility and strength while having fun!

Hockey
Reminder of hockey game Tuesday 3pm at Bowles vs. Caledonia. All players who haven't paid fees and passed in athletic agreements need to see Mr.Carruthers at start of lunch.
