Breakfast Program
The Breakfast Program officially starts next week. Students come into the building at 8:10. They are dismissed at 8:35. All students are welcome!

Friday Fun Song
Students are reminded to vote for the Friday Fun Song! There are voting cards just outside Ms. Sinclair's room - Room 113. Be sure to get your vote in by Friday to hear your song!:)

Ellenvale Book Club
Ellenvale's Book Club will be starting next Tuesday, September 27, at 11:45 in Ms. Lingley's Room - Room 217! Please bring your lunch! It’s going to be FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yearbook
Are you interested in photography? Do you like designing, drawing, or working on the computer? If so, the yearbook club is for you. The yearbook club will have its first meeting Monday at 12:10 in Mr. Klasz's room #115. If you are interested in joining this club, but cannot make this first meeting, please see Mr. Klasz or Ms. Sparks before Monday to let us know.

Library
The Library is now open at 8:10 before the morning bell Wed-Fri. Please remember that you are asked to remain IN the library until the bell rings, thanks.

Volleyball
There will be a volleyball tryout for grade 7 girls only on Monday at lunch. A grade 8 girls’ tryout will be held on Tuesday at lunch and a grade 9 tryout will be on Wednesday at lunch. There will be second tryouts for all grade levels next week. Please listen to announcements and check the PE bulletin board for days and times.

Soccer

Congratulations to the girls’ soccer team who defeated South Woodside 5 to 0. Goal scorers were Olivia E, Abby O, Abbie L and Daya D with 2. Players of the game are Daya D, Mya Smith and Abbie O.

Congratulations to the boys’ soccer team on their win yesterday over South Woodside. The next game will be next Tuesday, 3:45 pm, at Eric Graves.

Volleyball
The first boys’ volleyball tryouts will be next Tuesday 7:30- 8:30 AM. There are sign-up sheets next to Mr. d'Entremont's room and by the gym. You only need to sign up on one of the sheets. Anyone trying out for the team should come prepared with proper footwear and shorts. Hope to see you there!  

Terry Fox Walk
We are going to do our Terry Fox walk TODAY during the last 2 periods of the day (weather permitting) --- looking for donations from students for the Terry Fox Foundation of a loonie or a toonie please! Let’s see how many laps we can do that will extend our journey across our Terry Fox map of Canada!
