Our next project " The Ellenvale Celtic Band" will begin rehearsing after the performance of Romeo and Juliet. First rehearsal date is Thursday, May 19, at lunch in the Band Room. A performance date of September 14, 2016 at the Halifax Celtic Festival has already been confirmed. This is open to all Band students Grades 7, 8, and 9.

 

Immunizations

Tomorrow the gym will be in use by the public health department for an immunization clinic beginning at 8am and probably running until mid-afternoon. 2 student volunteers are needed to assist. If you are interested, please clear it with all your teachers first and then come to the office to let us know you are available to help. Thank you!

 

Also: Parent-teacher interviews are scheduled for Thursday, April 21, from 5:30 to 8pm. Parents can go to the Ellenvale website and find the link for selecting their interview times for that evening. The link will be active until late on Wednesday, April 20.

 

WEactors

Weactors are invited to sign up for the Earth Day clean up on April 25 outside Mme Boudreau's room.

Grade Nines have until April 28 for the first boat cruise payment and until the 22nd for their first Valley trip payment. We do not have anywhere near the minimum 45 students and 3 parent chaperones required for the trip to occur at this time.

 

Yearbook

There will be a yearbook meeting from 3pm to 7pm in the computer lab today.

 

The final yearbook sales drive of the year is now underway! This year's yearbook is a 36 page hard cover book. The cost of the yearbook is $25 or $30 to have your yearbook personalized with your name on the front cover. Please return your completed form and money to your homeroom teacher by May 6. Additional order forms are available from Ms. Cottingham in the office. 

 

Donations.

A group from Prince Andrew High School are asking for donations of children’s books in good used condition or new for Frontier College. Please dig in your room and donate! Drop box is in the library until Apr.22. Thanks!

 

Boys Lacrosse

The boys lacrosse team played a great game against Eric Graves on Wed. but lost overall 34-24. The boys are reminded of their next game on Monday.
 

Girls Lacrosse

A reminder to girls’ lacrosse of their game today at 3:30 at EPEC. Mrs. Doolan is still waiting for the girls to bring in their $25 team fee.

 

Boys Basketball Uniforms In!

All boys’ basketball members should return jerseys and shorts to Mr.Whitfield as soon as possible. 

 

Volleyball Players

Ms. Pike would like to meet briefly with members of the boys and girls volleyball teams today at lunch in room 115.

Meeting at 11:45 in LIbrary for all who volunteered for to help create sets for Romeo and Juliet.
