Grade 7 Band Rehearsal - Friday lunch

Completed theory books - hand in this week. Scale assessments will continue this week. I am available for extra help Tues, Wed., Thurs, after school and Wed at lunch.

Grade 8/9 Band trip to Colonel John Stuart and George Bissett elementary schools - Wednesday, Mar 2.

We will need 6 parent chaperones for this trip. Please contact me if you are available - must have proper documents filed with the office- the trip will be from 9:30-2:30 pm

Grade 7 Band Trip to Shannon Park and South woodside elementary schools - Thursday, Mar. 3. 9:30-2:30 

We will need 5 parent chaperones for this trip. Please contact me if you are available - must have proper documentation on file with the office

Consent/permission forms for these trips will be going home this week. Signed forms will need to be returned by Monday, Feb. 22

Special presentation by John Campbell - renowned Canadian Blues guitarist - this Friday at Ellenvale - 1:15 pm in the gymnasium.

Musical

Attention singers, dancers and actors! Auditions will be held for our school musical Wednesday and Thursday this week. Interested students are asked to sign up for an audition time outside the music room. Auditions will start at 12:10 each day. Students are asked to prepare a song for the audition.

WeActors

The Weactors will be having a dance to celebrate "We are not labels; we are love." It will be on Thursday, February 18th, from 6:30-9. Tickets will be on sale in the lobby for the first 10 minutes of lunch and then in the gym until the bell. 5$ in advance and 7$ at the door. Guest pass forms are available at the office until Feb. 16.

Boys Basketball

Congratulations to the Boys Basketball team on their win against Graham Creighton on Friday 48 to 39. Player of the game goes to Aidan MacNeil for his great defensive presence and great passes to open teammates. A playoff semi-final game is tomorrow here at Ellenvale. Game begins at 4. 

Also, this is a reminder that there is a Goodminton practice for the grade 8s and 9s today after school from 3 to 4:30. Any questions please see Mr.d'Entremont or Mr.Whitfield.
